I've been an avid ski fisher for over 30 years. It is a great marriage of mountain sports that can be enjoyed throughout North America, from the high altitude resorts in the Sierras and Rockies to the coastal range lodges of the Cascades. I can think of no better way to spend a winter day in the mountains than to ski Mt Hood Meadows or Mt Bachelor in the morning and fish for winter Steelhead in the Deschutes in the afternoon.
